For this discussion, you will identify TWO effective and creative brands on social media, one on Instagram and one on SnapChat.

Then, you will identify TWO brands that could use improvement on social media, one on Instagram and one on SnapChat.  

Include screen shots to illustrate your points.

Present your findings in an original, substantive post (worth 50% of the assignment). Your post should include:

1. What features drew you to this specific brand?
2. What strategies does this brand use to promote itself through social media channels?
3. Is the brand portraying itself in a unique and interesting way? Why or why not?
4. How does the brand distinguish itself from its competitors?
5. Is the brand’s social media efforts successful? Why or Why not?
6. If you were the brand manager, would you improve the brand’s social media strategy? Why or why not? If yes, how would you improve the brand’s social media strategy?

Reply to at least one fellow students’ posts in an effort to create community (worth 50% of the assignment)
