Learning Goal: I’m working on a writing multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
PART I (5pts)
Will thoroughly describe why public speaking is important and applicable to you and your career. I am looking for at least five ways that proficiency in public speaking will directly impact you along with a thorough argument as to why it is so important for you to master.
PART II (10pts)
Will thoroughly discuss your class public speaking goals through four major lenses: As is, Should be, Barriers, and Payout.
As is: What is your existing state when it comes to public speaking?
Should be: What are your goals when it comes to public speaking. Make sure they are S.M.A.R.T Goals.
Barriers: What has kept you from accomplishing your goals in public speaking?
Payout: What would it mean to you if you were able to accomplish those goals?
PART III (5pts)
Is a half-page that is typed out and summarizes your goals from part one with a key difference. NO Negativity whatsoever is allowed AND this section consists of a series of sentences starting with “I am” or something similar and is written in the present tense as if you have already accomplished that goal.
This is actually for a speech class.
I want the paper to be 1.5-2 pages long written in simple language, answering all the questions.
